  2. To find all of your apps press the Windows key and Q. You will get a screen with every application installed on the computer. Just like the old Start -> All Programs in previous versions of Windows
  3. If you cant find something you are looking for move the mouse to the top right corner of the screen and go down to the magnifying glass and type in the search window what you are looking for, like Word or Control Panel or Printer. The computer will search the entire computer for anything that matches.

Business Disaster Planning

Companies are more and more reliant on their computers to function today.  If you have ever been “down” before you know this is true.  What is the worst case scenario for a company when it comes to computers? It is a total loss of data.  That is why we backup, right?  Are you sure your backup is working? Most people only find out their backup is not working when it is too late.

Our BDR (Backup and Disaster Recovery) Solution elminates that.  It backs up your data every 15 minutes, and even notifies us when it misses a backup. So if your system crashes you only lose the last 15 minutes of data.  But that is only the backup part of our solution
Built into our BDR is the Disaster recovery portion.  Our system is configured to launch a virtual copy of your entire system in less than 10 minutes so you can keep on working.

Managed Wi-Fi

We had a customer a few months ago that starting telling us their internet connection was really slow all of a sudden.  Long story short they had put in a new Wifi and employees and customers were on it on their personal devices eating up all the bandwidth. What to do?  The old solution was to just turn off the wifi or buy a really expensive wifi solution that allows you to see what everyone does.
Oxford has a new solution for you. We have very affordabel managed WiFi routers that will mount anywhere in the office and provide every kind of report you can imagine and also allow you to decide how much bandwidth any of the wifi networks get.  It provides daily/weekly/monthly reports on usage to let you manage the WiFi and bring some order to the network again.

What are these devices? They are by a company called Meraki and give you full control of your WiFi thru a cloud based app.
